The only thing worse than being diagnosed with cancer,
is watching someone you love going through it.

KISS YOUR CHILDREN EVERY DAY AND TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM. TODAY IS GONE, AND TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME!

Welcome to Sammy's website.
This website has been created
for our family and friends.
So you can experience this
journey with us.

Well of course it has been forever since I last posted. I had opted to not even keep this website up anymore since Sammy is doing great, but with the numerous emails always asking how Sammy is doing I figured I would post a quick update!

Well like I stated above Sammy is doing great. She passed kindergarten and is going to be entering 1st grade on August 11th. We are still doing routine blood checks every two months. Other then that....NOTHING! We are cancer free, and leading a pretty normal routine life!

As for any news....

Our house is on the market and Rick is looking to go to another dealership. We have been all over Tennessee, North Carolina, southern Virginia and within the next couple weeks we are visiting South Carolina and Georgia. We pretty much are waiting on our house to sell, and find a place where we could call home! So very soon we will be saying good-bye to Virginia!

All three kids are excited, and I am ready for a change. I want a more rural area, preferably in the mountain area. So this is good next step for our family.

In the meantime all three kids are attending elementary school this year. Hannah is so excited that she will be getting on the bus with Ricky and Sammy. Plus it will be nice to have them all on the same schedule. They have all been doing awesome, and growing like a weed. Ricky is away at Special Love camp this week. I will hopefully have time to post about that in the next couple weeks.

Other then that....we have been traveling all over, going to Kings Dominion, visiting the local pool and just staying busy! Hannah broke her thumb over Fathers Day weekend, after numerous doctor visits and wearing a funny little contraption on her finger it looks like it is on the mend! And I have lost over 50 pounds so far this year.....

I have tons of pictures on myspace of the kids, our traveling, and such so go check them out. Sammy's hair has really grown out, and she has lost all her extra weight and really gotten tall!

That about sums it!
